The Infrastructure Division of RMF Engineering, Inc. (RMF) is seeking an engineering student for a paid internship in our Baltimore, Maryland office. The internship is a fulltime position starting in May and lasting through August. The actual start and stop dates will be coordinated with the student’s school schedule. The opportunity to continue the internship during the fall semester (part time) will be considered pending a successful work experience during the summer.
About RMF Engineering:
RMF Engineering is a privately held company that was founded in 1983. There are 9 offices across the Mid-Atlantic, with headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. RMF provides design and engineering services for all aspects of building construction including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC. The firm also provides campus master planning services, energy conservation surveys, pressure vessel inspections, condition inspections, and building commissioning. RMF coordinates the installation of ‘off the shelf’ components in the built environment.
About the Infrastructure Division:
The Infrastructure Division specifically provides engineering services for central utility power plants and utility distribution. Central utility power plants can be found on most University campuses, Hospitals, and Government sites. These plants typically generate steam and electricity for facility usage. The Infrastructure Division specializes in phased designs that allow facilities to replace obsolete or failed equipment, while maintaining utility service to the facility users.
