RMF Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for its growing York, PA office.

Position Description:

• Work with a skilled team of licensed professional engineers designing infrastructure systems for higher education, government, and healthcare clients.
• Perform mechanical systems design for large central cooling and heating plants inclusive of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, large bore piping, and controls.
• Perform engineering calculations such as hydraulic modeling, energy analysis, and pipe stress analysis.
• Develop mechanical construction drawings using AutoDesk Revit MEP.
• Participate in construction administration oversight (shop drawing review, site visits, and progress documentation.)

Position Requirements:

• Strong teamwork, communications, and customer service skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 0-3 Years of experience in architectural, engineering, or construction related field.
• EIT certification a plus with ability to obtain PE licensure.
